This new socket was installed as part of a project that included installing some extra lighting into a loft space, it can be proper dark in lofts so who can blame them for wanting some light!! On this occasion, I will install a batten light that the customer has purchased, and I will use the Kinetic Wireless Switches from Tool Station, they need the Wireless Receiver to work!!   ​

 

In this video I am simply showing you what tool I would almost certainly turn to when installing any new socket... that tool you see is called is called a "Multi-Tool" - it oscillates really quickly and so cuts through most materials, in-fact, if you have the right tool bit anything... I use it mostly to cut out holes in plasterboard for new sockets or chase out solid brick too, although my trusty SDS Drill comes in handy here too!!
