What my customers say?
Review left on 21st August 2026 (on my Google Business Page) - this was a small job in Wells, Somerset, removing a PIR controlled lighting circuit and putting it on to a standard on/off rocker light switch.

"I like to support good local independent traders, as I find you get a better service.
His website is easy to navigate and he communicates clearly by email and text from start to finish.
Rich came highly recommended on "Which? Trusted Trader" and they were bang on about Rich, he arrived on time in a clean professional looking vehicle.
He is very approachable, has a great knowledge and communicates what needs done before he starts, works cleanly and once the job is done bills you later. (I had my Hallway PIR disconnected and replaced with a 2-gang switch)
Rich is now in my contacts on my mobile as my new local electrician, feel safe in the knowledge you will be getting a 10/10 service."

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do electricians take on smaller jobs?
Yes. In my case, smaller domestic electrical jobs are an important part of what I do. Whether you need a light fitting changed, an additional socket or several small jobs completed around your home, please get in touch.
Can you do several small electrical jobs in one visit?
Absolutely. If you've built up a list of smaller electrical jobs, send me the details when you enquire. Photos can also be helpful when I'm working out what's involved.
Can you add extra sockets?
Yes. I can advise on adding additional sockets and the best location for them, subject to checking your existing electrical installation.
Can you replace my light fittings?
Yes. I regularly replace and install light fittings. If you've already bought the fitting, send me a photograph or link when you enquire so I can see what you're looking to have installed.
Will I receive electrical certification?
Where electrical work requires certification, I'll provide the appropriate documentation and explain what it means. Generally speaking certification is only required where an alteration to a circuit is made, so a replacement of a light or socket that is already in place won't require any certification. You can request it for an additional fee however.
How much does a small electrical job cost?
Every job is different, but my minimum charge for a small electrical job is £110. This covers my time, travel and the professional service involved in carrying out the work safely and correctly. Any materials or accessories required will be additional but any quote will be fully itemised so you know where your money is going.
If you send me a brief description of what you need, along with a few photos where possible, I can usually give you a good idea of the likely cost before arranging the work.
